A Manga is a Japanese formatted comic book, traditionally read right to left and drawn in a distinct artistic style.
We made sure to include a graphic novel which is read left to right as standard in the west.
While the formats differ, this is the exact same story and art work — just presented in two different formats for readers to enjoy however they like!
Jamaica No Ja Makai was rated in Jamaica by the Censorship board as T16 (Parental Guidance required until 16.)
Amazon has rated the book for 16+ readers. Curse words have been indicated but censored.
For example "you son of a b#$%!" instead of the full naughty word!
As books sales continue to increase, we are going to be using the funds to develop the manga + graphic novel and reinvest in producing future episodes. Ideally, we would like to work with a publisher and a studio moving forward but will continue to thrive as an independent content producer!
